The Water Services Regulatory Board (WASREB) observes a policy of Equal Employment when recruiting staff.  Whenever vacancies arise they are advertised in the print media to give an opportunity to all Kenyan seeking employment.  All qualified applicants are considered the same way without discriminating on the basis of race, tribe, colour, sex or physical disabilities.

WASREB has also been offering attachment opportunities to students undergoing training in various universities and colleges in the country to assist them gain hands-on experience in their areas of study.  We provide internship opportunities to Kenyans who have qualified in various fields and who  are not yet employed to assist them train on the job and enhance certain skills required in the work place.  WASREB is in the process of developing an internship policy to act as a guideline when recruiting interns.

We have developed a Human Resource Policy Manual which is a combination of various Human Resource Policies required in the workplace and which  are required to guide the organization in the administration of staff issues to enhance staff morale and therefore retain the right staff with the right skills
